I just want to tell you what I want to do. I brought a 1968 Saab 96, which was recently upgraded to a lithium-ion, about 34 kilowatt hour, and it gives it a range of well over 100 miles, and I'm very happy with it.
I always try to tell people that. It wasn't good. Yeah, well, he had just replaced the brushes on it, which meant that he had all the accumulated dust from the prior brushes, and putting in the new brushes and seeding those brushes, it's going to generate a lot of brush during that seeding process, and that happens pretty quickly, generally, and that's great.
My name's John Metric from Lake Jackson, Texas. I'm here at the EVCCon. They asked me to bring anything I wanted to display, and I decided I would bring my motor and transmission system, and this is for a new car called Assault and Battery, and it's two warp nines with a high-speed planetary gear transmission with reverse and neutral.
Yeah, so starting up front is a warp nine dual shaft that we're going to put a buck of 400 horsepower through. It's coupled through a custom coupler to a Transwarp 9. We also put about 400 horsepower through, and then a custom adapter plate, aluminum, through a custom spline, 32 spline input shaft with the roller bearings on the inside into the spline code, two-speed racing transmission.
This is a two-speed 1.56 underdrive. This case is the forward-neutral-reverse operated by a lever. Leather action, but this is a CO2 canister for quick shifter.
We then contacted your vendors, and they have a part that's not in the normal website. It's called a multi-unit, and this is already a great success running single overdrive, and we're kind of out of it at about 120 miles an hour. We plan to go a little faster.
We bought this unit called the multi-unit, and this adapter adapts from the lane code to the gear vendor. This unit adapts from gear vendor to gear vendor. This one is a .78 overdrive, and this is an additional .78 overdrive.
This one's really beefy. This one's rated for a 30,000-pound vehicle. The total drive ratio here from the front is 1.56. One over is 1.22. Everything off is a 1.0 direct drive.
First over is .78. Second over is .61, and direct 3.0 rear-end final drive ratio is 1.8. We think it's capable of about 200-plus miles an hour, and we've already done 155 with a single overdrive. This is put on to get a little more speed off the line, and this is put on to get a little more speed at the top of the rear-end. I know all about that.
...drive, and the diff started making some noise. I looked over at him and said, man, I bet this thing's going to last two more seconds, and it lasted about two seconds. So, I guess we're back at parts.
We'll bring something exciting next year. If anyone's in the San Diego area, I encourage and invite you to come on by the shop. Let us take you for a ride, because the car is phenomenal.
If I could paint a picture, it's like Matt and I and my dad was the pit crew, right? We've run errands in our race car before, and that most closely resembled what these vintage cars were like. ...quite possible. We had a rebirth auto, but none of them come close to that.
If anyone here not yet is used to negotiating electric cars or making them free and how to do it like that, sorry. If they are, Jason or Andrew might have it. More questions? Yeah, that's precisely what we're hoping to do.
I've done enough conversions, I think that certain things annoy me, like doing a high-voltage connection to a DC-DC converter across the front of this building. So, we're going to wrap this all up. Because this is real slap in the face to the EV, it might as well be 10,000 manpower, because it's a small group of people.
I don't, but it sounds good. It must do this. It works very well for you.
I don't know why, but it's not hitting my Spartan personality. I've actually, when I didn't want work to come in, people would call, and I'd speak to the owner, and now he's not here, and he said, don't bring any work in, and I hang up. You have two choices.
No, it's just... Just your website, that's it. That's all, that's my only advertising. So, maybe what we need is Angie's list for conversion shops.
What's that? Angie's list for conversion shops. Never heard of it. Reviews of conversion shops.
They do? It's kind of a blue cheese drink website. It's not. All day.
Ready? 1-2-3! Woo!
